Craig is an affiliate of Core Benefit Services, Inc., an employee benefits consulting firm located in Houston Texas. He is active in the Houston Association of Health Underwriters and served as its president from 2012-2013. He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters Leading Producers Round Table, is a member and past president of The Rotary Club of Houston Westchase, and is an active member of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce.

Experience

Craig began his life insurance career with Prudential in 1979 and started his own employee benefits consulting business, Splawn and Associates, in 1980.  He began his financial advisor career in 1994 when Prudential entered the financial services industry.  Craig has been an “independent” employee benefits consultant and financial advisor since leaving Prudential in 1996.  In March of 2010, Craig made the decision to affiliate his business with Financial & Insurance Consultants so that he may serve both his financial and insurance clients more effectively.

Family

Craig is married to his wife Pat, and together they have one daughter, two sons, and seven grandchildren.
