Terry Brown founded T. Ross Brown & Associates in 1982 in The Woodlands and has been in the insurance industry since 1974. His clients range in size from 2 employees to his largest group of more than 7500 employees, which he has served for more than 20 years. Client retention averages over 15 years with the firm. As with our other CORE partners, he represents hundreds of insurance companies to benefit his client’s employees and their insurance needs.

Active in his both his community and church, he has served as President of his local Rotary Club, Administrative Board and Finance Committee Chairman for the Woodlands United Methodist Church on three occasions, as well as other offices in both organizations. He has also served our professional insurance industry on the local, state, and national levels as a Legislative Chairman for the Houston and State organizations in Austin and Washington D.C. for The National Association of Health Underwriters. He lobbied on behalf of clients and the industry to retain the private nature and personal choices of the health insurance business that have provided the finest and most innovative healthcare system in the world.

He lives with his wife of 38 years in The Woodlands. Terry and Gay have two daughters residing in Denver and D.C.
