Stephen King started his career in the insurance industry in 1984 with Metropolitan Life. Three years later he started his own agency to be able to offer more products and services to business owners as well as individuals. He earned his Life Underwriters Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation in 1989 and is taking courses to complete his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. He is a member of the Houston Association of Health Underwriters (HAHU), as well as the Texas (TAHU) and National (NAHU) associations.

Stephen’s primary focus is working with business owners to set up their employee benefits package, including group health, life, dental and 401-k retirement plans. He works with the employees to help them understand their benefits and to ensure the best value. He also works with individuals by offering life, health, disability income, annuities, IRA’s, Medicare supplements, long term care and International travel insurance.

Stephen is active in his community where he served in the past for 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, and has been active for over 20 years.

His hobbies are auto racing and American Flyer model trains collecting, and touring the United States on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
